The brand's Do Good, Do Beautiful campaign encourages a generation of 'Do Good'ers.'

Alba Botanica, a part of The Hain Celestial Group, is partnering with the media site, Refinery29, to further the mission of its ‘Do Good, Do Beautiful’ campaign, which began in 2017. The campaign’s mission is to encourage female empowerment, environmental sustainability, animal rights and rescue — and inspire a generation of ‘Do Good’ers,’ the brand says. Refinery29 published the story, Meet 6 Gen Z Activists That Are Setting An Extraordinary Example, featuring the six young women Alba Botanica recruited as its “Z-Listers.” Alba Botanica’s “Z-Listers” are a diverse list of activist-oriented Gen-Z women. Each was chosen due to their established cause — to celebrate the beauty of charity and sustainability, and encourage this generation to “do beautiful” as a result of “doing good”. Sohana Samanta, senior brand manager, Alba Botanica, says, “We’re so inspired by women who chose careers that have them doing beautiful every day. It makes us proud helping other women live their values by choosing products that are better for them and the world around them.” The R29 story aso includes the debut of a joint research study on the relationship between activism and young women. The study revealed that 71% of women consider themselves to be socially conscious, yet only 55% of women say it’s easy to get involved. Topping the list of their priority social causes are: child welfare and protection, racial equality and justice and women’s rights in general.
